I have been doing a bit more work on this poem. It may make things a bit more difficult, but I have decided to write all of the stanzas in rhyming verse. This is not exactly a skill I have practiced. Anyway here is a bit more of ‘Here be Dragons’ with the first stanza and a switched around refrain.
Map decaying, my jaded eye surveying
That which ancient wise men drew
Symbols marking where bones lie sleeping
Of personal demons they cruelly slewAvalon ahead
Shangri-La behind
Traveler misled
Paths to find
Here be Dragons
Lost in a Labyrinth
Caught at the Cross roads
Prisoner of the Quest
